The Balmoral Hotel is one of the UK’s most prestigious luxury hotels, renowned for its iconic architecture, exceptional hospitality, and world-class guest experience. As part of the hotel’s continued investment in premium wellness facilities, a new Irene Forte Spa was commissioned to create a luxurious destination focused on health, relaxation, and wellbeing.

Appointed to deliver the full mechanical installation package, our team has been responsible for providing the essential infrastructure that supports the operation of this high-end spa environment. From initial first-fix works through to final commissioning, the project showcases our expertise in delivering complex mechanical services within luxury hospitality settings.

Scope of Works

Our appointment encompasses the complete mechanical installation for the new spa facility, including domestic water, plumbing, heating, cooling, and ventilation systems throughout the development.

Key elements of the project include:

• New domestic water services installed from the main boiler room
• Complete plumbing installation throughout the spa
• Mechanical services for:
• 7 luxury treatment rooms
• Large men’s and women’s changing facilities
• Shower areas
• Sanitary systems
• Reception and guest welcome areas

The HVAC package includes:

• Installation of 24 Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
• New chilled water systems
• New heating systems
• Full mechanical integration from the roof plant and boiler room through to all spa facilities

The project has required detailed coordination between multiple disciplines to ensure seamless delivery and system performance across the entire spa environment.
